For this exercise your study group may hand in a single assignment. When submitting assignments, please include your name and the assignment number as part of the filename. Please write the names of your study group members at the beginning of your homework. These assignments may be made public and available to all members of the class.

Each person in the study group should read a paper on the topic that you've chosen for your final project (or, at least, the topic that represents your best guess about the topic of your project).

1. Write a short (250 words or so) explanation of the topic of your project.

2. What data might you use?

3. Write a short summary of each paper read (at least one per person in the group, although of course you could read more). Must be a real academic paper not something from the popular press (although such articles can help you find academic articles).
