Homework 7: Computer Exercises

For Computer Exercises, your study group should hand in a single assignment. When submitting assignments, please include your name and the assignment number as part of the filename. Please write the names of your study group members at the beginning of your homework.

Remember, I DO NOT want just the SPSS output – although you can include that as an appendix. I want clearly written short answers to these questions, with appropriate charts or tables.

Use the SPSS file, "classification.sps" to create broad classification groups for ATUS time categorizations.

Find some interesting relationships in the ATUS data about how different groups of people (you're free to decide) pass their time. You should include some tests that are amenable to statistical hypothesis tests of the sort, whether some distribution has a mean different from zero.
