Global Climate Change

In class I split you into 3 groups. This assignment requires you to work with your group to create a presentation and upload it to InYourClass.com.

The IPCC reports are available from the IPCC website http://www.ipcc.ch/

Every group should read the AR4 Synthesis Report "Summary for Policymakers" (SPM, in the jargon) http://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/syr/en/spm.html or http://www.ipcc.ch/pdf/assessment-report/ar4/syr/ar4_syr_spm.pdf.

• Group 1 should read and discuss the report from "Working Group I."  Read the SPM and any chapters that interest you further. http://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg1/en/contents.html
• Group 2 should read and discuss the report from "Working Group II."  Read the SPM and any chapters that interest you further. http://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg2/en/contents.html
• Group 3 should read and discuss the report from "Working Group III."  Read the SPM and any chapters that interest you further. http://www.ipcc.ch/publications_and_data/ar4/wg3/en/contents.html

Work with your group to prepare a class presentation of approx 20-25 minutes to teach the rest of the students what you have learned. You can choose the best format (powerpoint, videos, revolving lectures, whatever) and how the team works together. You will all receive the same grade (an externality!).
