For
Computer Exercises, your study group
should hand in a single assignment. When
submitting assignments, please include your
name and the assignment number as part of the filename. Please write the names of your study group
members at the beginning of your homework. These assignments will be available to all
members of the class.
Using the PUMS data again, create tables of joint, marginal, and conditional probabilities.
What are the joint probabilities of different educational attainments (for people 25-55) in different boroughs? Conditional on a person living in Queens, what is the probability that they have more education than just a high school diploma (some college, associate degree, 4-year degree, or advanced degree)? What about the other boroughs? Conditional on a person having a college degree (associates, 4-year, or advanced), what is the probability that they live in Manhattan? Brooklyn? The other boroughs?
